About:
The RPI (rating percentage index) is a the mathematical system that ranks wrestlers based on current and past performance. The rankng are stictly mathimetical and are based on data or results we gather. THe more results we have, the better the rankings will be. We currently pull most of results from Jakeswrestling.com. JakeWrestling.com is not affiliated or associated with Ohio High School Wrestling Rankings - RPI.
Factors the effect a wrestlers RPI:
- Each wrestlers current and past accomplishments.
- The wrestlers best wins of the season. Have they beaten quality opponents
- The level of opponents that the wrestler has defeated
- Weight determined by lowest weight competed at the previous year
- School determined by school competed at previous year
- No 9th graders will be assigned
- Weights will be adjusted based on lowest competed weight throughout season
- Freshman will start scoring once they have a result in JakesWrestling.com
- Each week there will be a minimum number of matches needed to be included in ranking

Dual Meet Results: If you like our ranking and would like to help us constantly improve them please download this excel sheet and email the results please and email it to: Results@OhioWrestlingRankings.com
Tournament Results: If you use "The Wrestling Tourney" software program please follow these steps:
- Select the PRINT drop down menu
- Select MATCH RESULTS
- In match results, select results by ROUND
- In the output to section, select COMMA DELIMITED
- select PRINT ALL
- there is an option to save to desktop or to an export file with a *.csv extension
